Alec is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimise financial structures across IFM Investors’ infrastructure portfolios. He also manages the firm’s relationships with banks, private placement investors, investee company CFOs and credit rating agencies. Alec was previously Head of Infrastructure for IFM Investors in North America. He joined IFM Investors after spending 15 years in banking focused on project and infrastructure finance. Before joining IFM Investors, Alec’s most recent position was head of the infrastructure finance business at the Royal Bank of Scotland in New York. Previously, he held senior positions with Credit Agricole Indosuez in New York, Deutsche Bank in New York, and the Union Bank of Switzerland in New York and Zurich. Before his career in banking, Alec worked in real estate development and provided econometric consulting services to electric utilities.

Before he joined IFM Investors, Brooks was Vice President - Finance with Soltage in New Jersey, a renewable energy company which develops and operates solar energy assets on client structures across the United States. Brooks has held the position of Vice President - Global Corporate Investment Banking, Energy and Power, with Banc of America Securities in New York, and was Vice President - Investment Banking at Fieldstone Private Capital Group, New York. Previously, he worked with Mirant Corporation, formerly Southern Energy, Inc, in Atlanta as Finance Manager in Corporate Treasury and Business Development. Brooks represents IFM Investors as a Director on the Board of Duquesne Light Holdings.

Danny Elia

Danny drives the asset management strategy of IFM Investors’ Australian and global infrastructure funds. He has extensive experience in finance and business operations in infrastructure, construction, transport, public-private partnerships, manufacturing and retail. Previous roles include CEO of South Australian Health Partnerships, Director of Public Private Partnerships for Leighton Contractors, General Manager of Transurban Victoria and Finance Director of Linfox Asia Pacific. Prior to these roles, Danny was the CFO or a senior finance executive for a number of multinational blue chip companies including Coles-Myer, General Mills, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Unilever. Danny represents IFM Investors as a Director on the Board of Melbourne Airport is a Director of the Asset Management Council.

Deepu is responsible for the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions, and asset management of existing investments. Deepu played a key role in recent airport acquisitions, including Manchester Airport Group and Vienna airport and was seconded to Manchester Airport Group for nearly a year to assist with post-acquisition integration and other strategic initiatives. Prior to IFM Investors, Deepu worked in the Infrastructure and Energy Finance group at Citigroup in New York where she advised and provided financing for transactions across various infrastructure sectors, including ports, power, energy, airport, toll roads in the Americas. Deepu started her career as an analyst at Citigroup in their Public Finance division in San Francisco. Deepu represents IFM Investors as an Alternate Director on the Board of Arqiva Limited.

Duncan Symonds

Duncan is responsible for the identification and implementation of asset management initiatives across our existing portfolio of infrastructure assets, and for the development and execution of transition plans for new investments. Prior to joining IFM Investors, Duncan was the UK Head of Infrastructure at SWP Group, where he was responsible for delivering asset management initiatives, growth of the rail and highways business, and new service lines. Previously, he worked as the Operations Director at Laing O’Rourke, where led a team that managed a diverse portfolio of projects in the transport and utilities sectors, and also worked as a Business Development Manager and Project Lead. Duncan brings an extensive track record in the engineering, construction and transport industries to his role at IFM Investors. Duncan represents IFM Investors as an Alternate Director on the Board of Anglian Water Group.

He has been critical in the transition of new IFM Global Infrastructure Fund investments, and acted as interim Chief Financial Officer for Essential Power in 2008 and 50Hertz Transmission in 2010. Lars joined IFM Investors after a 15-year career as a banker with Credit Suisse, where he covered the energy and utilities sectors, among others, and worked in New York, Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong and Singapore. As group head of Credit Suisse’s power and project finance group in Asia-Pacific, he was responsible for a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, bank and capital market financings, equity capital raisings, restructurings and structured deals. Prior to that, Manoj was Vice President in the Infrastructure Advisory Group at Citigroup, where he advised on large infrastructure transactions, including the restructure and sale of Railtrack. He also advised industrial sponsors on the structure and finance of large public-private partnership projects and power plants. Manoj also spent three years with the Boston Consulting Group in Paris, where he was involved in strategy consulting assignments within the telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, finance, consumer products and power industries. Under Michael’s leadership, Transurban developed into a leader in the North American toll road business by successfully establishing, developing and delivering operations for a $3 billion portfolio of toll road concessions. As a member of Transurban’s Executive Committee he reported through the Chief Executive to the Board and his responsibilities included management of the overall business. Prior to Transurban, Michael spent eleven years at Credit Suisse, rising to the level of Director, Investment Banking, where he originated and executed M&A and capital raisings. Michael represents IFM Investors as a Director on the boards of Indiana Toll Road and Conmex.

Before joining IFM Investors, he held senior operations roles with LATAM Airlines in Santiago, Chile. His final role there saw him responsible for the Aircraft Maintenance Network, which employed over 4,000 people across 25 countries. Prior to working at LATAM, Sebastian was with Booz & Company, where he advised clients in the energy industry. Sebastian’s prior experience also includes human resource process transformation at ExxonMobil, project evaluation at Techint and manufacturing at Pirelli Tires.

Previously, Tom worked as a Director in the Power and Utilities Group at Credit Suisse First Boston and as a First Vice President - Utilities Group at PaineWebber Incorporated.

Having been with IFM Investors for over 10 years, Werner is an Investment Director for the Infrastructure Equity team based in London and is responsible for the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions and the related asset management. During his time at IFM Investors, Werner has worked on numerous successful global acquisitions including Anglian Water Group (UK), 50Hertz Transmission (Germany), Duquesne Light Holdings (USA) and the Defence Headquarters PPP (Australia). More recently Werner was leading the acquisition of a stake in Vienna Airport (Austria). Prior to joining IFM Investors Werner worked within the valuations team at PwC, Melbourne, and the corporate finance team at KPMG in Vienna. Werner is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds a Master of Business Consultancy from Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt (Austria) and has a Graduate Certificate in Business from the Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne. Werner represents IFM Investors as a Director on the Board of Eurogrid International (50Hertz Transmission).
